Definition
Some type of computer is a programmable electronic device designed to accept data, perform prescribed mathematical and rational operations at high speed, and display the results of the operations, all under the control of software. Mainframes, desktop and laptops, tablets and smartphones are a few of the different types of computer systems. An electronic machine which helps in solving problems quickly and easily. It solves problems regarding to instructions directed at it by the computer customer called programs or software. It is a digital machine(that uses binary digits) used in all field

Automation
Most humans have trouble with math. Showing this, try doing 584 x 3,220 in your mind. It is hard to keep in mind all the steps! People made tools to help them remember where these were in a math problem. The other problem folks have is that they have to do the same problem again and again and over again. A cashier had to make change every day in her mind or with a bit of paper. That required a lot of time and made problems. So, people made calculators that have those same things again and again. This part of computer record is called the "history of automated calculation," which really is a fancy phrase for "the history of machines that make it easy for me to do this same maths problem again and again without making problems."The abacus, the slide guideline, the astrolabe and the Antikythera mechanism (which times from about 150-100 BC) are types of automated computation machines.

Programming
People do not need a machine that could do a similar thing over and over again. For example, a music container is a machine that plays the same music over and over again. Some people wanted to have the ability to inform their machine to do various things. For instance, they wanted to notify the music box to learn different music every time. They wished to have the ability to program the music box- to order the music field that can be played different music. This part of computer background is named the "history of programmable machines" which really is a fancy key phrase for "The annals of machines that I can order to do different things if I know how to speak their terminology."One of the first examples of this is built by Hero of Alexandria (c. 10-70 Advertisement). He built a mechanical movie theater which performed a play enduring 10 minutes and was managed by a sophisticated system of ropes and drums. These ropes and drums were the terms of the machine- they advised what the device did so when. Some people claim that this is the first programmable machine.Historians disagree on which early on machines are "computers". Many say the "castle clock", an astronomical clock created by Al-Jazari in 1206, is the first known programmable analog computer. The distance of day and night could be tweaked every day to be able to account for the changing lengths of day and night over summer and winter. Some count number this daily modification as education.Others say the first computer was created by Charles Babbage. Ada Lovelace is known as to be the first programmer.

The Computing Era
By the end of the Middle Age groups, people in Europe thought math and engineering were more important. In 1623, Wilhelm Schickard made a mechanised calculator. Other Europeans made more calculators after him. These were not modern personal computers because they could only add, subtract, and multiply- you could not change what they does to make sure they are do something like play Tetris. As a result of this, we say they were not programmable. Now technicians use computers to design and plan.In 1801, Joseph Marie Jacquard used punched newspaper cards in order to his textile loom what kind of structure to weave. He might use punch cards to see the loom what to do, and he could change the punch cards, which means he could program the loom to weave the style he wanted. This implies the loom was programmable.Charles Babbage wanted to make a similar machine which could compute. He called it "The Analytical Engine".[8] Because Babbage didn't have enough money and always evolved his design when he had a much better idea, he never built his Analytical Engine motor. As time went on, personal computers were used more. People get bored to death easily doing the same thing over and over. Imagine spending your life writing things down on index credit cards, holding them, and then having to go find them again. The U.S. Census Bureau in 1890 experienced hundreds of individuals doing just that. It was expensive, and information took a long time. Then an engineer exercised how to make machines do a lot of the task. Herman Hollerith invented a tabulating machine that would automatically add up information that the Census bureau accumulated. The Computing Tabulating Recording Corporation (which later became IBM) made his machines. They leased the machines instead of selling them. Producers of machines got long helped their users understand and repair them, and CTR's tech support was especially good.Due to machines like this, new ways of talking to these machines were developed, and new types of machines were created, and eventually the computer as we realize it was born.

Analog and Digital Computers
In the first one half of the 20th hundred years, scientists began using computers, typically because scientists acquired a great deal of math to figure out and wanted to spend more of their time thinking about research questions rather than spending hours adding numbers collectively. For example, if they had to establish a rocket ship, they needed to do a great deal of math to be sure the rocket worked well right. So they put together personal computers. These analog computer systems used analog circuits, which made them very hard to program. Inside the 1930s, they invented digital personal computers, and soon made them much easier to program. Financial firms false as many consecutive makes an attempt have been made to bring arithmetic logic to l3.Analogue computer systems are mechanised or electronic devices which solve problems. some are being used to regulate machines.
