A computer is a programmable digital camera designed to agree to data, perform prescribed mathematical and rational operations at high speed, and display the results of the businesses, all under the control of software. Mainframes, desktop and laptop computers, tablets and smartphones are a few of the various types of computer systems. An electric machine which assists with solving problems efficiently. It solves problems relating to instructions directed at it by the computer individual called programs or software. It is an electronic machine(that uses binary digits) used in all field

Automation
Most humans have trouble with math. Showing this, try doing 584 x 3,220 in your mind. It really is hard to remember all the steps! People made tools to help them remember where they were in a mathematics problem. The other problem people have is that they have to do the same problem again and again and once more. A cashier had to make change every day in her mind or with a bit of paper. That got lots of time and made problems. So, people made calculators that do those same things over and over. This part of computer history is named the "history of automatic calculation," which is a fancy key phrase for "the annals of machines that make it possible for me to get this done same maths problem again and again without making faults."The abacus, the slip rule, the astrolabe and the Antikythera mechanism (which schedules from about 150-100 BC) are examples of automated computation machines.

Programming
People do not want a machine that would do a similar thing over and over again. For instance, a music container is a machine that performs the same music again and again. Some people wished to be able to notify their machine to do different things. For instance, they wished to tell the music pack to try out different music each time. They wished to have the ability to program the music field- to order the music package to experiment with different music. This part of computer record is called the "history of programmable machines" which is a fancy key phrase for "The history of machines that I could order to do different things if I know how to speak their terms."Among the first examples of this was built by Hero of Alexandria (c. 10-70 AD). He built a mechanical movie theater which performed a play enduring ten minutes and was run by a sophisticated system of ropes and drums. These ropes and drums were the dialect of the machine- they advised what the device did and when. Some people claim that this is the first programmable machine.Historians disagree on which early on machines are "computer systems". Many say the "castle clock", an astronomical clock developed by Al-Jazari in 1206, is the first known programmable analog computer. The distance of night and day could be modified every day to be able to take into account the changing lengths of night and day throughout the year. Some count up this daily adjustment as education.Others say the first computer was made by Charles Babbage. Ada Lovelace is known as to be the first programmer.

The Computing Era
By the end of the center Ages, people in European countries thought math and engineering were more important. In 1623, Wilhelm Schickard made a mechanised calculator. Other Europeans made more calculators after him. They were not modern pcs because they could only add, subtract, and increase- you cannot change what they have to make sure they are do something like play Tetris. Because of this, we say they were not programmable. Now designers use computers to design and plan.In 1801, Joseph Marie Jacquard used punched paper cards to tell his textile loom the type of structure to weave. He might use punch cards to share with the loom what to do, and he could change the punch cards, this means he could program the loom to weave the routine he wanted. This means the loom was programmable.Charles Babbage wished to make an identical machine which could compute. He called it "The Analytical Engine".[8] Because Babbage didn't can pay for and always transformed his design when he had a better idea, he never built his Analytical Engine. As time continued, computer systems were used more. People get bored stiff easily doing the same thing again and again. Imagine spending your daily life writng down things on index credit cards, saving them, and then needing to go see them again. The U.S. Census Bureau in 1890 experienced hundreds of people doing that. It was expensive, and reviews took quite a while. Then an engineer exercised how to make machines execute a lot of the task. Herman Hollerith created a tabulating machine that would automatically add up information that the Census bureau gathered. The Computing Tabulating Recording Firm (which later became IBM) made his machines. They leased the machines rather than selling them. Manufacturers of machines had long helped their users understand and repair them, and CTR's tech support was especially good.Because of machines like this, new means of speaking with these machines were invented, and new types of machines were invented, and finally the computer as we know it was born.

Analog and Digital Computers
Inside the first half of the 20th century, scientists started using computers, mostly because scientists experienced a lot of math to figure out and wished to spend more of their own time thinking about science questions instead of expending hours adding numbers mutually. For example, if they had to release a rocket ship, they needed to do a lot of math to make sure the rocket did the trick right. So they come up with computer systems. These analog computers used analog circuits, which made them very difficult to program. In the 1930s, they created digital computer systems, and soon made them better to program. However this is false as much consecutive attempts have been designed to bring arithmetic logic to l3.Analogue personal computers are mechanical or electronic devices which solve problems. some are used to control machines.
