Your personal computer is a programmable digital camera designed to allow data, perform recommended mathematical and reasonable operations at high speed, and screen the results of the procedures, all under the control of software. Mainframes, desktop and laptops, tablets and smartphones are some of the various types of computer systems. An electronic machine which helps in solving problems quickly and easily. It solves problems relating to instructions given to it by the computer user called programs or software. It is a digital machine(that uses binary digits) used in all field

Automation
Most humans have a problem with math. Showing this, try doing 584 x 3,220 in your head. It is hard to keep in mind all the steps! People made tools to help them remember where they were in a math problem. The other problem people have is that they need to do the same problem again and again and over again. A cashier had to make change every day in her brain or with a bit of paper. That got lots of time and made errors. So, people made calculators that performed those same things again and again. This part of computer record is called the "history of automatic calculation," which is a fancy phrase for "the annals of machines that make it easy for me to get this done same maths problem over and over without making problems."The abacus, the slip guideline, the astrolabe and the Antikythera mechanism (which times from about 150-100 BC) are types of automated calculation machines.

Programming
People do not want a machine that could do a similar thing over and over again. For instance, a music field is a machine that takes on the same music again and again. Some people wanted to be able to inform their machine to do different things. For instance, they wished to notify the music container that can be played different music each time. They wanted to be able to program the music field- to order the music container to experience different music. This part of computer background is called the "history of programmable machines" which is a fancy expression for "The annals of machines that I could order to do different things if I know how to speak their terms."One of the first types of this was built by Hero of Alexandria (c. 10-70 AD). He built a mechanised theater which performed a play sustained 10 minutes and was operated by a complex system of ropes and drums. These ropes and drums were the vocabulary of the machine- they told what the device did and when. Some people argue that is the first programmable machine.Historians disagree on which early machines are "pcs". Many say the "castle clock", an astronomical clock created by Al-Jazari in 1206, is the first known programmable analog computer. The distance of day and night could be adjusted every day in order to take into account the changing measures of day and night over summer and winter. Some count this daily modification as education.Others say the first computer was created by Charles Babbage. Ada Lovelace is considered to be the first programmer.

The Processing Era
By the end of the center Age ranges, people in Europe thought mathematics and executive were more important. In 1623, Wilhelm Schickard made a mechanical calculator. Other Europeans made more calculators after him. These were not modern personal computers because they could only add, subtract, and multiply- you cannot change what they did to make them do something like play Tetris. Because of this, we say these were not programmable. Now technicians use computers to create and plan.In 1801, Joseph Marie Jacquard used punched paper cards to inform his textile loom the type of routine to weave. He could use punch cards in order to the loom how to proceed, and he could change the punch cards, which means he could program the loom to weave the style he wanted. This means the loom was programmable.Charles Babbage wished to make a similar machine that can analyze. He called it "The Analytical Engine".[8] Because Babbage did not have enough money and always modified his design when he previously a better idea, he never built his Analytical Engine motor. As time continued, pcs were used more. People get bored stiff easily doing the same thing over and over. Imagine spending your life writing things down on index credit cards, keeping them, and then needing to go find them again. The U.S. Census Bureau in 1890 had hundreds of folks doing just that. It had been expensive, and reports took a long time. Then an engineer worked out steps to make machines execute a lot of the work. Herman Hollerith invented a tabulating machine that could automatically add up information that the Census bureau gathered. The Processing Tabulating Recording Corporation (which later became IBM) made his machines. They leased the machines instead of selling them. Producers of machines experienced long helped their users understand and repair them, and CTR's technical support was especially good.Because of machines such as this, new ways of talking to these machines were invented, and new types of machines were created, and finally the computer as we realize it was created.

Analog and Digital Computers
Within the first 1 / 2 of the 20th century, scientists started out using computers, typically because scientists got a great deal of math to figure out and wanted to spend more of their own time thinking about knowledge questions rather than spending hours adding numbers mutually. For example, if indeed they had to start a rocket dispatch, they needed to do a great deal of math to make certain the rocket functioned right. So they put together computer systems. These analog pcs used analog circuits, which made them very difficult to program. Within the 1930s, they invented digital computer systems, and soon made them better to program. Financial firms false as many consecutive tries have been designed to bring arithmetic logic to l3.Analogue computer systems are mechanised or gadgets which solve problems. some are being used to control machines.
